"Faultless. Spotless. Brilliant! It hurt to leave......

P, Q and R; Leicester

"Plenty of things to do in the area. Both local pubs very good and welcoming with good food. Most of all it's lovely to have your beautiful cottage to come back to"

Maureen and John; North Staffs

"Very good cottage - there was nothing we wanted that wasn't here - maybe a first! Lovely area with great walks from the door. We really enjoyed Lincoln and evensong at the Cathedral, the Fishing Heritage Centre at Grimsby (definitely worth a visit), various National trust places and Skegness - Wow! What a Place! We'd love to return to do more walking when it's a bit warmer. Thanks for a lovely week. The welcome and breakfast hampers were fantastic!

"Warm, well equipped cottage, Generous with what was provided, lovely area, lots to do!"

Nick and Hilary;

"A thoughtfully and well equipped cottage, which we have found comfortable and met our needs well as a base to explore the Wolds. We have visited Horncastle, Louth, Gainsborough, Lincoln, Woodhall Spa (Cinema was brilliant), Hull, Butlins and more! The High Ropes at Market Rasen was a success and best of all a completely dry and sometimes sunny week (not bad for February!). We look forward to returning to the area in the summer time. Thank you!

Janet, Harry and Elizabeth;

"We really enjoyed our stay at Clematis Cottage although it was much too short. The cottage has been beautifully decorated, a real home from home and a very welcome place to visit. We enjoyed meals at The Kings Head and The Barn - both very good but very different. Remember to book if there is a race meeting at Market Rasen as everywhere seems to get packed out.

Recommend walking along the beach and through the dunes at Saltfleetby. Unfortunately we did not see the sun during our stay - but all the better for walking as not too hot. Thank you for our lovely stay"

Helen and Andy; Cambridge

"Superb, beautifully decorated cottage, lovely view up to the church from the garden. Quality food at Kings head pub. Great weather and beach at Skegness. Will definitely come again - cheers!"

Jamie, Wendy and Lucy; Hinkley

"Had a wonderfully relaxing holiday in Clematis Cottage - plenty of walks from the door. Excellent food at The Kings Head and The Olde Barn. We enjoyed the walk along the promenade from Sutton on Sea to Sandilands. Loved the food fesitival at Louth and also Louth's market Weds, Fri and Sat. Interesting walk around Caistor. Had fabulous weather.

Jo and Roger; Birmingham

"Delightful aspect, facilities and decor in the cottage, and generally in the village. Much appreciated the thoughtful treats and kind attempts to make us all feel relaxed and welcome 'at home' - including our dog! Folders were a mine of useful information, and books a welcome diversion at the end of a busy satisfying day out. Friendly village folk. Can recommend to friends and family with confidence. Thank you"

Alec, Angela and Smudge

"We have enjoyed our few days here, had a very pleasant break. Everything fine in the cottage. Home is the place we love best, but we will certainly return here if allowed!!! Thank you for your kind attention to my diet.

Ron and Maria; Saxilby

"We really enjoyed our stay very relaxing and quiet! Pubs serve really good food well worth a visit to The Kings Head and The Olde Barn. Lovely welcome pack. Thank you for your hospitality. Would like to come back again. Good walks to do as well!"

Terry, Dawn and Catherine; Norfolk

"Wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage. Enjoyed the walks and the peace and quiet of this tranquil village. Local pub very welcoming and food excellent. We will be coming back - hopefully in the summer time!" Many thanks.

"Beautiful cottage. A home from home. Cosy and welcoming. Thank you Nicola and Rupert. The local cheese was lovely! We will be coming back to Clematis Cottage again. Thank you again.

Pat and Alan; Cheshire

"We came for the Christmas markets and the rest, the cottage and location were simply the best. We took in Skegee, Louth, Horncastle and Doddington Hall. And, the City of Lincoln with its Cathedral so tall, The ghost walk around the old quarter with tales of blood and the odd slaughter, Nice to come in to our welcome pack. I'm sure that one day we will sure to be back".

Sharon and Steve; Portchester

"Delightful cottage in idyllic village. Food at The Kings Head is beautiful and dogs are allowed. Very friendly local people, wonderful local walks. Visited Donna Nook where we were fortunate enough to see seal pups with their mothers and a collection of bulls. Visited the Christmas Markets and lovely atmosphere. Home from home cottage, will definitely return". All the little extras made it very special..... Thank you"

Neil, Alison, Alisha, Glade and Zelda; Warwick

"We have rented many cottages across the UK but this has to be one of the best. The attention to detail is excellent and little touches such as the Christmas tree added to the experience. The weather was against us at times but Clematis Cottage was always warm and welcoming to come back to. Thank you"

Vicky and Tony; Shropshire

"Lovely cottage in a lovely village. People very friendly. Little extras (wine and chocolates) were lovely and the dog enjoyed his Bonio! Weather was kind to us so we managed to get out and about, in the lovely countryside. The Olde Barn is great for food and we can thoroughly recommend it. Thank you"

Dave, Sheryl and Alfie the dog

"Had a great time, weather was good so we spent time on the beach. Both pubs serve good food, it depends what you prefer "pub" food in The Olde Barn or a la carte in The Kings Head. Locals are friendly and helpful. Lovely comfy cottage thank you!

Dave and Jan

"Cottage is totally "spot-on". Such a chilled location. Loved the blueberry choccy - my favourite fruit! I'm feeling inspired. Thanks for a really lovely stay - we will be back in 2014 - hopefully for Christmas"

Angie and Craig; Lincoln

"We've had a fantastic week at Clematis cottage - a beautiful cottage in a beautiful village! we highly recommend the Kings Head for food and drinks. We all enjoyed Rand Farm - a great day out with lots to do for the kids. We visited Louth and took the kids swimming at the lesiure centre which was great fun - there are 2 slides in the lesiure pool! Thanks Nicola and Rupert for making the cottage so welcoming and homely"

Amy, James, Mae and Joseph

"Really loved coming home each day to Clematis Cottage. Beautifully decorated and very lovely cottage. We enjoyed the coast, particularly our 7 year old son loved Skegness and the park in Tealby - what a lovely village we have found. Thank you for a lovely holiday"

Jon, Claire and Joe; Harrogate

"We had a lovely stay at Clematis Cottage - everything has been thought of to help us relax in comfort. Tealby has been a beautiful place to return to each evening. The boys loved playing cricket and games in the little sports field just across the road. We liked Lincoln and the beach and fish and chips (Salty's at Mablethorpe), and Market Rasen. We visited Nottingham a couple of times to cricket at Trent Bridge and racing, also racing at York. Thank you for this wonderful holiday base"

McCormick family; Jackton Scotland

"Arrived in the rain and left in the rain! In between, fantastic autumnal weather - bright blue skies, warm sunshine and wonderful views. Perfect for walking. The cottage lived up to our every expectation - more in Megan's case who didn't expect the Bonio (but ate it anyway!!) Good wholesome hearty food at The Olde Barn. We will definitely sing the praises of the Wolds (though not too much as we don't want it overrun.....) Many thanks"

Richard, Michelle, Pete and Helen (and Megan)

"Well..... it's all been said! This is a beautiful cottage. It's been a lovely week - weather not great! Thank you so much for letting us share your much loved cottage.

"We have had a lovely week at your cosy cottage. Special little touches were nice. Lovely village, Candice did really well at the Halloween fancy dress event at the village hall and Trick and Treating. Enjoyed our visit to Bransby Horses Rest Home (20 mins drive) and Donna Nook to see the baby seals (30 minutes). Would definitely come back again. Harvey liked his Bonio's! Thanks for a great holiday home.

Susan, Kevin, Candice and Harvey

"Really comfortable cottage, although low cottage ceilings were a challenge for Roger at 6ft 5 and 3/4"!!! Lots of lovely walks, particularly Walesby in the sun, so a bonus out of season. Recommended for trips out - Tattershall Castle and the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight". Thank you for a lovely week.

Roger and Marjorie

"Lovely location and a very comfortable cottage. Managed to spend a week without the crowds doing their Christmas shopping! Visited the airfield at Newark which was great. On a lovely sunny day we managed to take lovely photos from the viewing platform of the Humber Bridge. The coast in winter was superb, empty beaches, great for the dog. We are totally refreshed for Christmas. Thank you!"

Sue, Ian and Paddy; Sychdyn near Mold North Wales

"Excellent welcome tray thanks. Somewhere really comfortable to recover from an operation". Thanks Rupert and Nicola

John

"Have fallen in love with cottage and village. We have had a very relaxing week - just what we needed. The products on the welcome tray were very much appreciated - had to visit Sunnyside Up a couple of times! The low ceilings meant Colin hit his head a couple of times (may have knocked some sense into him - waiting for evidence)! Thank you Nicola and Rupert for your lovely cottage.

Liz and Colin; Newcastle upon Tyne

Thank you so much for a wonderful break at Clematis Cottage. The cottage is gorgeous. You put so much effort into making my children's bedroom welcoming that they felt straight at home.  We had a great time going to Sundown Adventurelands and the beach.  Both local pubs are great with kids too. A perfect place for a family holiday.

Nicola and family; Gateshead

"Thank you so much for our stay at Clematis Cottage. Absolutely fallen in love with Tealby - a haven of peace and tranquility. We loved exploring the village - everyone we met was so friendly. Our meals at The Kings Head were delicious. Your folder of walks was really great and we tried 2 but especially liked the one exploring Bayons Manor. The towels were gorgeous and the beds so comfortable - tell me where you got the pillows and linen and I am going to buy some!"

Lisa; Ockbrook

"Thank you so much for our wonderful stay at Clematis Cottage, it was just what was needed, sad to leave!"

Claire; Repton

"Great bacon and sausages from Viking Sausages at Leanings Butchers in the village"
